The Viking Museum is a museum on Djurgården dedicated entirely to the Viking Age. The museum features an interactive exhibition, a ride called Ragnfrid's Saga, daily guided tours, a museum shop, and the restaurant Eld, where we also host private dinners, children's parties, corporate events, and mead tastings.

We are now looking for a restaurant assistant. As a restaurant assistant, you are an important part of the team and ensure that our guests have a pleasant experience. You will work in a varied and service-oriented environment where you meet guests, handle food and beverages, and contribute to a clean and pleasant restaurant. The pace can be high, but with the right attitude and good collaboration, we create a welcoming atmosphere where both guests and colleagues thrive.

Responsibilities

• Take orders, serve, and process payments.
• Prep work and kitchen preparations such as washing, preparing, and chopping vegetables, etc.
• Secondary tasks related to a restaurant such as cleaning, tidying up, and dishwashing.
• Contribute to an efficient workflow and teamwork.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a service-oriented attitude – Ability to greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Is resilient and flexible – The restaurant environment can be hectic, especially during peak hours.
• Has basic cash handling experience – Experience with cash systems and payment processing is an advantage.
• Has previous restaurant experience – Experience in restaurants and fast food is a significant advantage.
